I went to a few stores around where I live. In each store, it was about the same. A sea of mattresses. Obnoxious or clueless salesmen, just out for the buck. When I asked a question about what was "inside" the mattress, I usually got a vague answer, or some jibber jabber that I don't even think the sales guy believed. One place had mattresses at double the price, but they looked and felt so much cheaper. Then, I went to another store, and they had decent mattresses at reasonable prices, but I was paranoid because I was thinking maybe the deals were too good to be true??? I wasn't going to buy anything until I felt comfortable KNOWING what I was getting. The only place that gave me honest answers, were polite, knowledgeable and patient was MattressHotline.com. I called there, and I was able to get the information I needed to make an informed decision. Latex mattresses? Foam mattresses? Memory Foam mattresses with Gel? What does all this mean? I was totally confused. I knew this coud be a very expensive mistake if I chose wrong. I first tried going to Macy's to figure out what I needed. Their salesperson was totally pathetic. It took 20 minutes to even get her to come over to talk to me. Then I went to Sleepy's and had just the opposite thing happen - they were on me like white on rice! SO pushy, obnoxious and desperate! After that, I gave up and it took me another month to start my search again. This time, I figured I would start online and see what I could find out. Well, it wasn't much better there. Most of the sites are filled with too much information which seems contradicting and confusing. When I was about to give up YET AGAIN, I found Mattressholine. I figured what the heck, I will give them a call. I was pleasantly surprised! Attentive, patient and really interested in helping me choose what would be best for me and my pocketbook!!! After a few conversations with Jeff, I knew that I was making the perfect choice. There are so many choices out there for buying a mattress. I started reading what other people said about MattressHotline, and I thought I would give them a call. I am glad I did. These guys are pros. They know all of the in's and out's of mattress buying, and they were able to give me the information I needed to come up with the best mattress for me. I even called a few of the other mattress retailers out there, just to see how they compared. I can tell you this - MattressHotline DOES have the lowest price. I spent $500 LESS than what another sales guy at another mattress website said was "their drop-dead lowest price that couldn't be beat anywhere". Next time I need a mattress, it's a no-brainer where I'll go.

I just want to tell you how pleased I was with my purchase. I bought an expensive TempurPedic mattress about 3 years ago, and since that time, I had been trying to convince myself that since I paid all that money for that mattress, it must be the best for me. I finally broke down and realized that even though I spent over $3000, I had made the worst decision EVER. So with a lot of hesitation, I started looking again for a new mattress. I am SO GLAD I found your site. I called and talked to a salesperson that completely understood my predicament and he worked with me to figure out what I REALLY needed to have a restful night's sleep. AND.... I have had some bad experiences buying mattresses, so when I needed a new mattress for our master bedroom, I dreaded the prospect of having to shop for another mattress. I was pleasantly surpised when I came across the MattressHotline site. First of all, the site was clean and easy to read and understand. They give you all the information you need about each of the mattresses so you can comparison shop. When I had questions, I called and talked to Jeff and he couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I knew I needed a new mattress, but I was nervous about spending a lot of money for something that wouldn't be comfortable. I have herniated discs and am in pain every day. I called Mattresshotline and the sales guy was wonderful. He understood the situation and he was able to give me recommendations to choose from. I was really confused. I saw all of this information on blogs, talking about whether I should be buying latex or memory foam mattresses. Some say memory foam is the greatest thing, other blogs say memory foam mattresses are crap. I was really glad I called MattressHotline. “Andrew, I worked with Jeff at MattressHotline. They have the same beds as everyone else and you won’t find lower prices for S&F beds. I did a lot of research on this (went to every online shop and went offline as well). The difference between these guys and other mattress resellers is the level of customer support and flexibility they provide (they were proactive with the problem with my order, which is almost unheard of these days). I have actually only experienced this level of customer services at Dell. If you are going to buy a bed, and they offer it, you should but it from Mattresshotline. I found that going to Macy’s to test beds and then buying via Mattresshotline was a good approach. I am cc’ing Jeff from Mattresshotline because he should hear this.
